[S3E5] The Tea Party
And speaking of the elimination round, this time the bakers had to create two desserts that would be perfect for a tea party. The only catch was that the desserts had to include a specific type of tea. They chose the tea they would use with the help of a croquet set.
[S3E5] The Tea Party
The girls are planning a spring tea in honor of Lord Cucuface and the trustees when Sugar Dimples, the child movie star, drops in to visit and takes over, turning their simple party into a major "Hollywood" production, with over-the-top results. It is up to Madeline to bring the party down to earth and remind Sugar Dimples that it is the company that counts, not the lavishness.

Directing and writing credits:Directed by Joe Ann Fogle, written by Justin Tanner. Both of these people are new to the "GG" universe and only have single directing and writing credits, respectively. According to IMDB, Fogle has been out of the game since 2009. I find it interesting that she won an Emmy in 1991 for editing the pilot episode of "Cop Rock," a show that Lorelai and Rory intend to watch (marathon-style) until Emily Gilmore comes over and forces them to throw her an impromptu bachelorette party ("Wedding Bell Blues"). The connections are endless, people!
Before the show, Al has a special meet and greet with a child who has cancer. As a parting gift, he gives the kid a bottle of some sort of alcohol or liquor that I could probably identify if I was more of a drinker and less of a stoner. It's amusing, and there's something inherently funny about a young sick white child's dying wish being a meet and greet with an adult rapper who raps about adult things. I probably would have wanted to meet Jonathan Taylor Thomas for a tea party if I was on my deathbed at that age, but to each his own.
While Siddiq is rather indifferent to the children's plight, he does provide Satine and Padmé with the information that the tea shipment came from Mooga and that another shipment is expected to arrive the same night. Padmé, Satine, and one of the Ducal guards sneak to the pier in question and witness the shipment's arrival and the complicity of the customs officer. The police captain is in stubborn denial of Satine and Padmé's observation, claiming that no criminal activity takes place under his jurisdiction, but when taken to the dock warehouse where the tea is stored and seeing the operation for himself, he is quickly swayed. The smugglers open fire at the arrest party, but using a freight container as a shield, Padmé and the guards move in and take them out, and following the arrest of the conspirators, Satine has the warehouse and its contents burned down.
John bonds with Nikki's mom when they help Toby move into his new apartment. John invites her to watch a football game and they end up kissing, which Regina sees as she's walking home. Elsewhere, Kathryn goes to New York city to pitch an idea for a second book. While the publisher turns down her initial idea, the publisher is interested in a book about the affairs of John's former teammates after Kathryn tells stories at the bar. Daphne tells Bay that Tank has a crush on her, advising that Bay should probably clear the air. Bay later rejoins the field hockey team for college admissions appeal and Daphne worries about Sharee after witnessing an altercation outside of Sharee's house. Regina gets involved. At a party at Toby's, Bay tells Tank that she sees them as "just friends," which he agrees to, but right afterwards, Bay trips and her bottle shatters on her hand, prompting a 9-1-1 call.
Shiroe's main class, the Enchanter, is an unpopular class in Elder Tale. Lacking the firepower most would associate with a magic-user class, the Enchanter is a pure-support class that shines only when supporting the party with its buffs, de-buffs, and binds. As a result, he loves this class for its potential, its complexity, and because the idea of "a class that can't do anything on its own" offered an experience totally opposite from his tendency toward independence and self-reliance.
The group so goes to Susukino, where Shiroe asks for William and the Silver Sword to join him into the raid zone At the same time, Demiqas, who still harbors a grudge towards Nyanta and Shiroe for that overwhelming defeat in the first month of the Catastrophe, barges into Shiroe and William's meeting. After being forced to stand down by William (who apparently overwhelmingly defeated the Monk in a duel). With the addition of Demiqas and Tetora to the raiding party, Shiroe and William barely gather enough members for a Full Raid, as many of Silver Sword's members have become demotivated from dying so many times. Shiroe, who had yet to experience death, is told by William that he would have to die in order to understand the demoralizing effect of death in this world.
The Abyssal Shaft Raid Party goes to the raid zone and defeat the two first raid bosses, despite that Shiroe was worried due to the amount of supplies it would use, although William does not seem to care. However, when they got in confrontation with Ruseato of Seven Prison two other Raid Bosses come to the aid of the first, resulting in a party wipe.
Shiroe's plan starts to work and the raid party gain the upper hand against Ibura Habura of Third Prison and Tarutauruga of Fourth Prison, however Ruseato injures itself in order to spawn the Shadow Vanguard, what put all the plan in risk, however Demiqas grabs Shiroe to throw him into the room where both Kinjo and the gold production where while draw the attention of the Shadow Vanguard from the raid party. During this moment Shiroe that he never treated Demiqas with respect, and the two finally agreeing something, they hate each other.
The host known as Clementine plays this 1920s piano composition during Logan's private demonstration. Later in the episode, Dolores plays this song at James Delos' party after he requests "anything but f---ing Chopin."
